Brian Doyle, PhD - Air Pollution Training Dr. Doyle is a consulting engineer who provides on-location training courses - usually targeted for regulatory staff.  We offer several courses that grew out of work for the Rutgers Air Compliance Center (RAC).  We have continued to update and expand course offerings since the RAC closed in 2007.     Course Description Duration  APTI 418: NOx Emissions - Formation and Control  2-2.5 days  Emissions Calculations  1.5-2 days  CAM and Title V Monitoring  2 days  APTI 427: Combustion Source Evaluation  3.5-4.5 days  Greenhouse Gases & Climate Change  1 day Each of the courses has a Student Manual and/or handout material that has been updated within the past five years.  All of them use a PowerPoint presentation.  Pre-test and final exams are available for each course. While, the Rutgers Air Compliance Center, that has provided administrative organization and support for these courses, ceased operation at the end of fiscal 2007, Doyle Engineering continues to provide air pollution training courses.  Presentation of these courses can be custom tailored for length and content. Course Delivery Course location will be determined and arranged by the sponsoring agency.  The class room requires a digital projector and a dry erase board or a paper easel for supplementary discussions. Doyle Engineering Inc will normally provide other administrative arrangements including: Travel arrangements for the instructor(s) Copies of all class handouts - either directly or from the US EPA for APTI courses. Administration and grading exams. A summary report of student performance Normally each course uses two instructors.  For classes of 25 students or less Dr Doyle can teach most of the courses alone.  Two instructors substantially expands the amount of first hand experience brought to the class room.  Doyle Engineering Inc will handle arrangements with contributing instructors and the sponsoring agency will receive a single itemized invoice.
